About Me

I am a New York State Licensed Social Worker (LMSW), with a Master of Social Work Degree from Stony Brook University. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theories of Addiction and Treatment Options, and Family Violence Issues from Empire State College.

I am a Certified Professional Life Coach from Tabernacle Bible College & Seminary Christian University.

As a Social Worker, I have worked with a culturally diverse population of clients, helping those with substance and alcohol abuse and mental health issues by providing assessments, treatment planning and counseling in a confidential and therapeutic setting. I have worked extensively with individuals, couples, families and groups and have approached each situation with intelligence, warmth and enthusiasm. I have utilized psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution based therapy, mindfulness therapy, narrative therapy, faith-based therapy and task-centered approach strategies in treatment.

As a Certified Professional Life Coach, I help people from all walks of life discover new pathways to overcoming roadblocks to their self-development through finding and developing their inner strengths and hidden abilities. I truly believe that empowerment and the building of individual strengths are key to supporting the clients I serve in achieving their goals.

I am also an Army Veteran with 12 plus years of military service and an extensive background in leadership, teaching, training and development. I have worked extensively with the veteran population and various veteran organizations.

I have over 29 years as a motivational speaker.

**Cancellation Policy** A 24-hr notification of cancellation is required if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment.
Failure to do so will result in a charge for the full cost of the session, except in case of unforeseen emergency.
